It is amazing how many have forgotten about it, how many have never learned about it, how many think it was okay. God help us if we don’t remember the lessons of that day.
I read something recently about some percentage of the country now having been born since 9/11/01. It makes sense … but I’ve read so many articles in the last few days, I would hope others are also willing to be reminded. …
So true. TJ. The history of 9/11 is not being taught in public schools and we have so many in the nation – including certain politicians – who think we deserved the attack. It is truly appalling. And sad.

The world is in a very dark place right now! May God have mercy on us all!
Yes. It’s a terrible thing to be at each other’s throats and not united as we hopefully should be – as Americans, let alone as a global population of humans.
My granddaughter has been talking about 9/11 all week . Her school had a moment of silence in remembrance on Friday.
She asked me “Why do we celebrate 9/11” I told her we don’t celebrate that day. We just remember that day, and pray for all who were lost. Never forget.

We must never forget.

What an absolutely good, thoughtful reply to your granddaughter. I’m glad you’re keeping the memory alive for her … and her teachers, too.
